We are looking for a Head of Transformation Delivery to support the definition and then lead, manage and deliver a strategic Change Programme that aligns to the vision, strategy and aims of the SQA and achieves the desired outcomes for the organization and its customers. In short we want an individual who can help create our future for the digital age.

We need a strong, well developed leader who can influence at an executive level and who is able to communicate corporate wide cases for change into business language and outcomes. Experience of defining and promoting strategic change in a complex high stakes organisation in an uncertain environment while managing risk to current day to day operations will be vital to be a success in this role.

You will be adept in reviewing how business operating models and related products and services are delivered to customers, identifying where change is required and ensuring you have the necessary resources and buy in to implement the change that will meet our future needs. As an effective collaborator you will understand the benefits of cross functional working and build relationships quickly with key stakeholders that can support an enterprise wide coherent implementation

As the Head of Transformation Delivery you will have experience in a multitude of business areas including but not limited to:

  • Business Change & Transformation including Operating Model definition

  • Stakeholder Management

  • Strategic Partnerships

  • Leadership and Management

  • Sourcing and Vendor Management

  • Change Programmes

Applicants, as a minimum, should be educated to SCQF Level 9 or be able to demonstrate significant experience in a similar position of comparable complexity in order to influence colleagues and be credible enough to provide direction and guidance in a specialist area. Whilst it is not vital for the role an understanding of the Education sector would be beneficial.
