Purpose of the Role

This is a part time role for initially 20 hours per week to cover HR related and Office Administration tasks.

Main Responsibilities

HR Advisor role

* Gathering and preparing information for payroll and checking payroll prior to BACs upload

* Complete benchmarking

* Support Managers to manage the performance of their staff in line with employment legislation

* Provide advice and guidance for disciplinary and grievance investigations and associated hearings

* Responsible for ensuring implementation of policies and procedures

* Support Department managers to understand and give recommendations for the training and development opportunities including succession planning and talent management

* Support managers with absence management and ensure absence procedures are followed

* Be proactive in the promotion of employee engagement - employee voice, rewards, and personal development

* Manage organisational benefits

* Support Head of HR with projects

* Be the first point of contact for HR advice

* HR Administration

Office Administrator role

* Maintain office services by organising office operations and procedures

* Liaison and correspondence contact for tradesman, office equipment and consultancy services

* Responsible for ordering office furniture and stationery

* Assist finance as a bank signatory

* Maintain paper and electronic office filing system

* Help organising employee events

* Maintain the condition of the office and arrange for necessary repairs

Who are we looking for

Qualifications and Experience

We believe that the ideal candidate has the following qualifications and experiences:

* CIPD level 5

* Experience in office administration

* Proven proactive approach working on their own and as a part of a team

* Very good standard of written and spoken English
