We are looking for a HR / Payroll Administrator to join our HR team on a part-time basis for a 12-18 month fixed term contract. Reporting directly to the UK HR Manager, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR function across a number of processes.

Duties & responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Payroll

    • Collate, input and validate up to three monthly payrolls for processing by an external payroll provider.

    • Ensure accurate monthly flow of information to and from payroll provider, HMRC and Pension provider.

    • Support the annual Year End process including P35, P11ds and expat pay and tax support.

    • Produce monthly payroll and pension reports.

  • HR Administration

    • Maintenance of accurate employee files, HR Database (Peoplesoft) and other spreadsheets and databases ensuring our records are up to date at all times in line with business and legislative requirement.

    • Support with pension administration.

    • Processing of new starters, leavers paperwork, changes of T&Cs etc.

    • Company cars – general administration and coordination of the Valeo fleet, along with communications with car fleet provider; invoice processing.

    • Support in recruitment of personnel and assist in delivery of induction programme when needed.

    • Assist in updating of HR policies and procedures

  • Training and Development

    • Maintain accurate training records for each employee.

    • Produce training reports as required to support the deployment of the Training Plan.

    • Promote and administer the online training provision.

Qualifications and experience

  • Educated to A level standard or equivalent

  • Previous HR administration, payroll assistant experience (at least 12 months)

  • IT literate, proficient in all Microsoft Office and / or Google chrome tools with advanced Excel skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail

Part Time hours – this role will be based on approximately 25 hours per week. Working pattern will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate in line with business requirements as well as any personal commitments.
