HR Manager Part-Time

Our prestigious client is looking to recruit an experienced Part time HR Manager on a 6-month FTC to cover maternity leave. The role is a hybrid position and requires the Part time HR Manager to work 3 full days per week, flexibility on which 3 days can be offered.

*Previous experience of working within the Financial Services or Insurance sector is essential for this Part time HR Manager vacancy*

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing a high level of support with complex Employee Relations
  • Supporting Employee appeals
  • Managing Employee Engagement activities and working with managers to create, develop and deliver action plans
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
  • Finalise a HR policy review and rollout
  • Assisting the HR Director with any project related tasks
  • Work closely with other department leads including Rewards, Talent and Analysts, particularly supporting the Talent Manager on further embedding performance management
  • Being the main point of contact for stakeholders and managers across the business ensuring matters are handled appropriately and in line with best practice
  • Develop, build and maintain strong working relationships across with key stakeholders
  • Support the roll out of HR initiatives including surveys and new benefits and providing continued support to employees thereafter
  • Ensure employee records are up to date and maintained
  • Provide management information reporting

Person Specification

  • CIPD or equivalent qualified is desirable
  • Previous experience of working within Financial Services or Insurance is essential
  • Up to date knowledge and a demonstratable track record of dealing with complex ER cases
  • Strong knowledge on HR polices
  • Excellent business acumen and strong communications skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and problem solve
  • Proactive approach

The salary banding advertised is a guideline, the remuneration offered will be commensurate upon experience.
