Pioneering & Market Leading, Scientific Research, Development and Manufacturing SME headquartered in Manchester, who have recently undergone a period of business transformation are seeking to appoint a part time HR Manager to provide a effective HR operational support service aligned to the new business structure

Your new role
In this generalist role you will be responsible for proactively managing the HR function across 2 sites supporting the full employee life cycle with a hands on, solution focused approach, which will include employee relations, managing the HR inbox, supporting line managers, holiday and absence management, championing engagement and social activities, payroll & benefits, HR policy and procedure updates and supporting the senior management team with organisational change. This is a standalone role so you will be a confident HR professional with experience at Manager or Advisor level. What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven Experience with a HR Advisor or HR Manager role
  • CIPD Level 5 Qualification
  • Excellent Communication & Relationship Building Skills
  • Progressive, People Focused Approach
  • Practical, Problem Solving Focus
  • Experience within an SME Environment Preferred
  • Flexibility and Willingness to Support Wider Tasks & Projects Within the Business
  • Experience of working in Scientific / R&D / Academic sector advantageous
  • Ability and Willingness to travel and support 2 locations

    Salary £30,000 - £35,000 pro rata + benefits
