HR MANAGER

PART TIME (2-3 days or 16-24 hours per week)

£30,000 - £50,000 pro rata + EXCELLENT BENEIFITS

REED HR are currently working with a market leader in their field and a fantastic company to work for, they are recruiting a HR Manager with strong management skills and excellent recruitment experience.

THE ROLE:

  • Provide guidance and support to line managers on all HR policies, procedures and people management
  • Manage staff recruitment and onboarding of new staff
  • Oversee and support line managers in the performance evaluation process and ensure compliance with all line management responsibilities
  • Be an additional point of contact for all staff, alongside their line managers, to provide support and guidance on any HR or personnel related matters as needed
  • Monitor and support the management of staff working hours, holiday bookings and sickness leave
  • Lead and/or support line managers with any conflict resolution, disciplinary and/or grievance procedures
  • Review, update and introduce new HR policies as required and ensure compliance with all HR and data protection laws
  • Develop and lead all staff recognition, reward, and engagement initiatives
  • Monitor and implement strategies to maintain / improve staff satisfaction and company culture
  • Manage all HR related administration, paperwork and filing, including preparation of contracts
  • Support line managers with staff development and training

THE PERSON:

  • Proven Experience with a HR Head or HR Manager role
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience in HR generalist role within a similar organisation (i.e. small-medium sized company, with graduate level employees, working within professional services in a fast-paced environment)
  • Up to date knowledge of employment legislation and professional HR issues
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
  • The ability to work with and influence a diverse group of people from junior to senior levels
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy
  • Excellent organisation, communication, interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
