Impact Reporting (Monitoring & Evaluating) - Volunteer role
We Rise is an award-winning Brixton based community business with a mission to empower young people to create successful futures. They deliver project-based work experience where young people work in teams to deliver a brief for a client over 5-7 days. We Rise also deliver longer term programmes in school, a programme of careers events (currently on hold due to Covid) and a mentoring programme.
Total length of project: 30 hours (over 2 months)
We Rise needs support around impact reporting, specifically with improving existing reporting methods and strategic thinking around evaluating programmes. The volunteer will provide support with developing data tracking methods and advising on suitable software or systems for collecting data and general improvements to collection processes and procedures. In addition to this, We Rise would like assistance with designing a set of impact reports, with a view to being automated in the future. The project is crucial for We Rise’s development as an organisation. Firstly, so that they can learn and improve what they do to increase impact. Second, so they can demonstrate to funders, supporters, clients and community the impact of their work and the difference they make.
For this role, we are looking for a skilled volunteer with a data background (e.g. Data Analysis), with plenty of experience in excel and data management. This project would also benefit from an individual with additional experience in the charity sector, allowing them to tie into strategic thinking around impact reporting more succinctly.
