Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting one of our clients in Barnsley to appoint an interim P/T HR Advisor 3-4 days per week. The role is interim for 3 months in the first instance with a high likelihood of going permanent from June. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong HR generalist to join a successful team.

Reporting into the Head of HR and working closely with the wider HR team and management teams the role is fully generalist in nature and will support in the following areas:

-Supporting managers on all areas of ER and performance management
-Providing advice and guidance on Covid issues
-Advise managers on performance management issues and development plans
-Support implementation of appraisal processes
-Advise and guide on policies and procedures in line with employment legislation and updates to employment law
-Ensure compliance with HR data, administration and systems. Analyse data and produce reports
-Work closely with other members of the HR team to ensure a seamless HR provision to managers and employees
-Monitor and take action on long and short term absence, liaising with Occ Health as appropriate
-Manage terms and conditions, offer letters and contracts for new and existing staff members
-Provide end-to-end support on recruitment process
-Support on ad-hoc HR related projects as required such as restructures, new system implementation

To be successful in this role:

-CIPD qualified or working towards
-Proven experience operating in a generalist HR role
-Strong understanding of employment law
-Experience dealing with performance management issues, e.g. employee relations, grievance & disciplinaries, absence management
-Enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team and autonomously
-High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
-Systems literate including HR systems and MS Excel
-Able to analyse data and collate HR management reports

The hours of work for this role will be Week 1 - Monday to Thursday and Week 2 - Monday to Wednesday, equating to 25.2 hours per week. The role will be split office based and remote working and then reviewed post covid. Due to location you will require your own car (free parking on site)

The starting salary for this role is £27485 which is the full time equivalent and will be pro-rata'd to 25.2 hours per week.
