About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Internal Communications professional to join the General Insurance team at the heart of LV=. In this role you’ll report our Head of Internal Communications, focusing on the delivery of internal communications activity for one of our core business area, in partnership with key senior stakeholders and the wider internal communications team.
Acting as a communications business partner you’ll need to be able to work with a range of stakeholders, including working at a functional exec level, and create imaginative solutions to engage with employees through a variety of channels. You’ll be responsible for overseeing as well as delivering multi-site internal communications campaigns and managing a variety of communication channels. You’ll become a trusted advisor to the business, whilst ensuring tactical delivery is timely and effective. This will involve you creating communication strategies, campaigns, supporting content, delivering events and always measuring the effectiveness of your communication and engagement activities.

As the ideal candidate, you’ll need a strong track record of experience within internal communications, ideally in a financial services environment, and will have acted as a strategic internal communications advisor. Naturally you’ll have a strong understanding of the full array of internal communications techniques and channels, especially digital and social channels. You’ll have excellent writing and relationship-building skills, and be confident in your ability to face off to senior level stakeholders.
You will act as a communications partner and advisor to the senior business stakeholders using internal communications best practice to deliver engaging communications across a variety of channels and audiences. In addition, you will oversee the overall events schedule for the IC team – allocating pool resources, budgets and ensure consistency in evaluation.
