JavaScript Developer/Mentor (Inside IR35) – Part time (14-20 hours per week)

Contract Term: 3 Months

Contracting Authority: Office for Standards in Education (OFSTED)

Location: Home Based

Note: This role is on a part time basis of 14-20 hours per week. Flexible on when these hours can be worked

As JavaScript Developer/Mentor, your main responsibilities would be: 

  • To mentor and help develop in-house skills on a new JavaScript implementation.
  • Responsible for application development and mentoring/training of the in-house team
  • To ensure that the team are able to develop their knowledge and skills of JavaScript and associated tools/technologies.
  • To provide insight into key aspects of the application development lifecycle and support adherence to development principles and standards



  • Excellent hands on technical skills with a detailed knowledge and understanding of JavaScript and Node js and associated technologies and related tools
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal to a variety of audiences from both a technical and non-technical background
  • Experience of mentoring and developing a team of developers in JavaScript and associated technologies and tools
