Gymshark HQ is based in Solihull, however this role can be both flexible & remote. There will be an expectation (post-Covid, government guidelines dependant) for the successful candidate to also be flexible and be open to coming into the HQ at least once a week.

As the Lead Systems Administrator of the Tech/Brand domain, you will play a crucial part in shaping Gymshark’s Tech and Brand ecosystem for the years to come. You will be the lead of a small team of Systems Administrator who are responsible for the implementation, configuration, management and administration of several systems or platform the business operates on. Your team will look after two key stakeholders in the business; the Brand and Tech department.

You’ll be involved in several challenging projects such as the implementation of several new systems and will continuously look for improvements once these systems are implemented. If you love managing various challenging projects, then this job will be right up your alley. To support the further growth of the business and provide an excellent service to both Tech and Brand department, it will be your job to recruit extra heads within your team. This team will be part of the wider systems team and you will report directly into our SysOps Manager.

What you’ll be doing

  • System implementations
  • Config of new and existing systems
  • Day to day management of several systems
  • Testing & roll out of new features
  • Leading, coaching and developing your Systems Administrator team
  • Adhere to the PM Framework and instil within own team:
    • Project Scoping and Requirements Gathering
    • Process and Data Mapping
    • Vendor Analysis and Sourcing
    • Data & Security Analysis
    • Gap Analysis
    • Legal Due Diligence
    • Training and Roll out
  • Manage stakeholders’ expectations
  • Clearly communicate progress on key milestones with Tech Leadership team
  • Set up reporting strategy in line with Gymshark’s data led mindset
  • Instil train the trainer mentality within the team
  • Expected to give weekly relevant updates to Head of System/SysOps Manager regarding running projects, potential blockers and team’s performance and wellbeing
  • Engage in training/workshop sessions with 1st and 2nd line support to handover system support
