Lead Azure Software Developer - (Part-Time, Job-Share and Full-Time) Location: London or remote The opportunity: Are you passionate about helping business adopt data science and advanced analytics practices? Do you have experience working with analytics and data science teams to get their assets into production? If so, we are looking for you! The Predictive Analytics team is recruiting for a passionate Machine Learning Engineer or Developer to lead the adoption of our assets by the business. Our team comprises data scientists, business specialists, and statisticians who have successfully developed many assets. We are now embarking on the next stage of this journey to get these assets into live usage by the business. You will be responsible for leading this charge, helping the team design end-to-end solutions from development to deployment and testing, and ensuring best practice throughout. You will leverage our existing infrastructure within Microsoft Azure to deploy APIs, applications and more to serve our assets directly to the business, helping to bring data science, AI and advanced analytics to everyone at Zurich! This role is available part-time, job-share or full time. This is because we want the best people for our roles, and we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time. Key Responsibilities: Design end-to-end production solutions for assets developed by the data science/modelling team.Lead and advise on best-practice regarding production rising and deployment and maintenance of machine learning products developed by the team.Lead the testing and support of machine learning assets.Communicate with the business with regards to the value of your workWork with cloud architects, data engineers, and others to manage our infrastructure budgets and manage usage and costs to ensure the budget is spent efficiently.Lead on the governance of machine learning assets from development to deployment and beyond.Contribute to positive and supportive team culture. Your skills and experience: Strong experience using Microsoft Azure, particularly on best-practice regarding putting ML assets into production and maintaining them.
