To assist in all areas from machine servicing and repairs to basic Cad working skills.
The chosen candidate would service and repair the two production machines and look after other equipment in the factory, carry out the testing of supplies and materials in line with our simple test procedures, communicate with tool makers where needed, maintain the CAD drawing register and update where needed, there would be need to use you hand on skills from time to time, perhaps making test rigs and either making or arranging with external engineers to manufacture prototypes.
The role is not pressured at all and would suit a person with a willingness to get involved in all areas and solve problems, Bailcast would be happy to consider CAD training if the right person needed more education but the applicant would need to have a good engineering or mechanical background and or training.
Hours would normally be 8am to 16.30 monday to friday and 8am to 16.10 fridays

Pay agreed will be relevant to skills, there will be a reveiw after 6 months if starting on the lower end of the scale, after 12 months the new employee would join the company profit related pay scheme, the amount paid is relevant to length of service, rate of pay and company profit each year, this could be an additional £1,300 per year based on history
Holidays 20 days pus bank holidays (usually 28 total)
1 additional holiday is added for each year completed up to a maximum of 5
Total at this stage 25 days plus bank holidays
