Marketing and Business Development Coordinator

The role:

A unique opportunity has arisen for a part-time coordinator to support the Development Department within the College.  

The operational aspects of the role are to provide administrative support to support the Head of Development in providing marketing and business development support to the wider College, enabling the College to increase their income streams by attracting new customers and delivering new products and services.  

The core objectives of the role are: 

  1. To assist and co-ordinate the College’s fundraising programme 

  2. To provide administrative support to the Head of Development and the Development function as this area grows. 

  3. To assist with all activities which help to market and promote the College’s products and services. 

To be eligible, you should have experience of working as an administrator, Executive Assistant or other similar role and have knowledge of best practice and the processes required within a supporter focused fundraising, marketing or development environment. You should be a strong written and verbal communicator with the ability to deal courteously and efficiently with a wide cross-section of the internal and external contacts. Ability to use MS Office software to a high standard is essential as well as the ability to act on own initiative but to take instruction where appropriate. Experience of using a fundraising or related CRM database is essential – experience specifically of Raisers Edge database is desirable as is a successful track record of managing small projects.
