We are looking for a Marketing/Community Manager to drive the marketing function at, based in Manchester.

We are a small team of specialists who work with tech startups to turn their vision into a reality, enabling tech innovation and customer-centred thinking. We believe in community and producing content that will be useful to the tech product entrepreneurial community we serve. 

To that end we produce a weekly Podcast; From the Factory Floor & write one or two blogs a week. We are also writing a book that will be launched in a few weeks.


The successful candidate will help us put together a digital marketing strategy & plan that involves making the most of this great content as well as organising periodic in-person events when the situation allows.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop a marketing strategy and plan with the team

  • Make the most of the great expert content we produce

  • Manage a modern SAS CRM

  • Organise and run periodic in-person events

  • Raise our profile in The North West

  • Generate qualified leads that allow us to engage with the best tech product start-ups in the North West

Skills & Experience required:

  • The ability to build a modern strategy around expert content marketing

  • The ability to lead & drive the marketing effort for the organisation

  • An understanding of new marketing technology and a passion for looking ahead at how marketing is evolving

  • Work as part of a small team

  • North West based

What will you get for this role?

  • 3-days a week circa £25k

  • Working from home hybrid model - circa 1 day per week in the office in Manchester city centre

  • Pension in line with auto-enrolment legislation

  • Annual holidays 20 days plus Bank Holidays (calculated pro-rata on days/hours worked)
