Hamptons International islooking for a Mid Tenancy Property Assessor to join our Property Management team in London.

The Role

To carry out scheduled property visits for our managed portfolio reporting on their condition to the Property Managers, acting as their eyes and ears. You will also identify refurbishment needs, and opportunities in order to maintain the upkeep of the property. You will be field based and form part of a team coordinating and completing scheduled property visits across the Hamptons network.

This role is offered as a full time or part time opportunity.


  • To inspect properties noting the general condition of the property, any areas of concern and any required works to maintain or enhance the property value, and its rental appeal.

  • Complete visit reports using our bespoke app giving a clear indication of overall condition using good grammar and spelling

  • Raise any problems including access issues with the relevant Property Manager concerned

  • Achieve the objectives and targets set by your Line Manager on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

  • Ensure that all customers receive a professional, efficient, friendly, consistent and personalised service

  • Be well presented at all times

  • Deal with and resolve, where possible, initial client complaints, only escalating to a PM when necessary

  • Consistently demonstrate the ability to pre-empt and fully understand customer needs and requirements

  • Promote other Hamptons Services where appropriate and generate referral leads

  • Cultivate good relationships with Tenants offering a `can do` flexible approach

  • Proactively develop strong relationships with lettings branches and Property Managers

  • Ensure internal controls and procedures are adhered to as per ARLA guidelines and legal compliance

  • Support the Hamptons International brand

  • Knowledge of property maintenance, and "how a house works"

  • Excellent team player with the ability to work autonomously

  • Excellent IT skills with intermediate Microsoft Office ability

  • Previous experience in a similar position or administration role is preferred

  • Minimum 1 years Lettings industry experience is required, Lettings Property Management experience is preferable
