North Area Children's Service Manager

The role:

Part Time - 18.5hrs per week/Permanent

You will be responsible for securing a high quality and effective social work service for children in need, those in need of protection and children in care; responding in a timely manner and within statutory guidelines to ensure effective management of risk.

You will be managing a service that puts children at the heart, delivering focused interventions to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.

You will be joining a very stable, experienced and supportive senior management team.

The current post holder is moving into flexible retirement so you will be job sharing with them and they can provide support and advice into the role.
