Operational Support Co-ordinator

The part you'll play:

A great opportunity has arisen to work in our Luton Airport team as part time Operational Support Co-ordinator.  You will be required to provide administration support services to the business and Operational Managers to ensure the efficient operation of the business in the financial and administration sector delivering the highest standard of service.

We are looking for to provide confidential secretarial and administrative support to the Operational Managers as requested.   You will undertake a full range of administration and office duties including the following;

  • Process monthly payroll including overtime, bonus, step-up pay, deductions and other ad-hoc payments and process accordingly

  • Respond to daily enquires on matters such as personal enquires relating to address changes, salary and overtime discrepancies, recruitment enquires, ID passes, Parking passes

  • Record all sickness data for SSP purposes, calculate and process any sick pay deductions in accordance with company's sick pay policy

  • Supporting the recruitment activity - using the Recruitment system ATS, circulating CV's, and preparing for assessment days

  • Manage and coordinate the referencing process by liaising with Third Party

  • Communicate with staff and relevant ID unit

  • Collate all necessary paperwork required for ID pass applications

  • Distribute and arrange collection of uniform

  • Ordering stationary and managing stock levels

What you'll need to bring:

  • Previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous

  • Ability to work using own initiative and without supervision

  • Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent organisational, planning and administrative skills and a good eye for detail

  • Experience of working in a busy, sometimes high pressure environment

  • Experience of dealing with work of a confidential and sensitive nature

  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Packages e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

Working in an Airside role, to follow aviation security requirements, you will be required to hold a full Airside Security Pass. To obtain this we will need 10 years' residential history, with a Criminal Record Check. You must hold a valid driving licence for this role.
