AAT Level 4 Bookkeeper, 2 Days Per Week

Our client is a small and friendly Property Management company, looking for

a local and experienced bookkeeper to maintain their Office Accounts, providing a complete trial balance, including standard accounting practice, such as accruals, pre-payments and depreciation.

The position is office based, working alongside our existing two Client Accounting Managers.

2 days a week: 10am - 4pm (negotiable)

Salary £9,360.00 pa

Duties to include:

Processing suppliers invoices within given time frames ensuring all invoices are correctly approved

Addressing suppliers queries.

Paying creditors and taxes

Banking cheques and monies

Entering credit card and cash expenses to the general ledger

Bank reconciliation

Filing all paperwork

Dealing with creditors and debtors

Dealing with general enquiries

Creating Management Accounts

Liaising with payroll and inputting monthly payroll journals

Maintaining, preparing and submitting VAT returns

Producing various accounting reports upon Directors’ request

Producing draft accounts to send to the Accountants at year end, liaising with Accountants regarding any amendments.

Ad hoc duties

Skills required:

• Working knowledge of Sage 50

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Methodical and detailed approach

• Work independently and challenge discrepancies

• Strong communication skills
