Part Time Accountant (25 hours per week)New

Gleeson Accountancy are delighted to be working with this Warwick based Global business, to recruit a Part Time Accountant on a 25 hour week.

Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be primarily responsible for the reporting and processing of sales for allocated customer accounts and supporting the all round month end reporting as required.

Other duties include providing support in the preparation of the balance sheet and profit and loss accounts for the month including analysis against budget, cash flow reports, commentary and summaries for the above directorates in accordance with the monthly timetable. You will also be allocating costs to correct accounts, cost centres and project costs, reconciling all bank accounts on a weekly basis. You will create and input to the financial system (SAP) journals and review and input monthly all commitments included in accruals and prepayments.

You will assist in the preparation of the monthly financial accounts, analyse and prepare VAT returns and assist in annual setting of budgets, making allocation alterations during the year as required and maintaining budget reconciliation's for each directorate.

You will be a minimum of AAT qualified or equivalent and studying towards a professional qualification. Knowledge of SAP is desirable. In return, you will receive a full time equivalent salary of up to £38,000, a 25 hour working week (5 hours per day), flexible working, study support, free on site parking, plus other benefits.
