Our client is located in Stirling and operates from premises which are easily accessible from the main motorway network. Onsite parking is available and the company's operation forms part of a busy UK network hub. They are focused on the provision, installation and service of a broad range of equipment. Main responsibilities include:-
Preparation of variety of accounts including Annual and Management Accounts
Preparation and submission of Corporation Tax returns as well as preparation of Self-Assessment Tax returns
Managing of Debtors and Creditors accounts
Timeous submission of accounts and tax returns to Companies House and HMRC
Liaising with other members of staff supporting the finance function
Engaging directly with clients
Assisting management team with analysis on budget throughout the financial year.
Ensuring the company operates profitably, in line with budget and providing effective management of stock control, payroll and purchasing.
Adhering to statutory compliance.
Assisting in achieving profitable growth and driving productivity
Skills required :-
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or qualified by experience
Previous experience in a similar role (service/contract hire)
Confident communicator with ability to interact with other department heads
Excellent IT skills, in particular Excel, Sage Line 50 and Sage Business Cloud
Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
This role is available immediately and will involve a high level of responsibility for the right candidate. However the flexible and part-time working piece makes this an attractive opportunity.
