Brewster Partners are pleased to be working with a reputable and fast growing SME based in Sheffield who are looking to bring in an experienced Accountant to work alongside the Financial Controller and Managing Director on a part time basis. This is a fixed term contract for just under 12 months to cover a period of maternity leave. The requirement is for 3 days a week, Monday is a must but other days are flexible.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in an SME environment and must be comfortable liaising with external accountants, managing directors as well as have good communication skills to flag issues as they arise.
- Prepare accounts for handover to external accountant
- Cash flow forecasting
- Supplier payment runs
- Income statement reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Present month end accounts to MD
- sales and purchase ledger
- Any other Ad-hoc tasks as required by MD
- Significant accounts experience
- Cash flow experience
- SME experience
- Good communication skills
- Good organisational skills
