Part Time Assistant Accountant - 12 month Contract
Salary: dependent on experience
Our client, a fantastic growing business based in Bury, are looking to add an Assistant Accountant to their team, this is a 12 month contract with the possibility of going permanent. You will be a key part in assisting with a system implementation, from SAGE to Navision. This role would suit someone with good experience of the day to day transactional duties together with experience of assisting with Management Accounts, it would also be beneficial if you have previous Navision or implementation experience.
- Assist with management accounts preparation
- VAT reviews and support on system maintenance
- Support with information and reporting requirements
- Adhoc project involvement
- Assisting the Finance Director with the implementation of a new system
- Responsible for daily bank and monthly petty cash reconciliations
- Responsible for processing employee and credit card expenses, commission calculations
- Drive continual process improvements and efficiencies within department, working closely with IT
- Ensure a strong internal control and compliance environment
