Part Time Assistant Accountant

\nA Part-time Assistant Accountant role has been created to work for an international luxury hospitality business based in Central London. Working for a fast growth business with a global presence this is an opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant.\n\nReporting to and assisting the Finance Manager, you will be working in a team of three and will be responsible for owning the accounts receivable function and assisting with the month end process.\n\nResponsibilities will also include:\n\nAssisting with preparation of the monthly management accounts and preparation of the monthly reporting pack\nHandling balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments\nManaging bank and cash reconciliations\nTaking ownership for the Accounts Receivable function\nHandling the Fixed Asset Register\nPoint of contact for any internal or external AP queries\nProcess improvements and ad hoc project work \nThe successful candidate will be degree\/AAT educated and have a minimum of 3 years' experience working within a similar role. Experience working with Excel and Opera accounting system is highly desirable. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and the role will suit a proactive and confident individual as you will need to have the ability to build relationships with key suppliers and non-finance stakeholders. Previous experience within hospitality or leisure is desirable but not essential.
