Part time Assistant Accountant

Your new company

A well established and growing SME are seeking an Assistant Accountant on a Part time basis to join their small and friendly team on a full time permanent basis.Suitable candidates will either be part -qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent.

Your new role
This position will work with the Finance function, and you will be hands on from day one and getting involved in VAT returns, quarterly reports and year end accounts. Duties will include:-
-Monitor and mange day to day financial functions of the business
-Analyse figures and prepare reports
-Balance sheet forecasts
-Fixed asset register
-Credit control
-Ledger work
-Ad hoc admin tasks
-prepare and post monthly accruals,prepayments
-Budgets and forecasts

What you'll need to succeed
You will need strong technical accounting knowledge and experience of working on Excel.You will require experience of AP and AR and overseeing the end to end finance operations, financial planning and analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.You will be looking to make improvements to procedures and controls and deal with request as they come up.
