Part Time Bookkeeper

Interaction Accountancy and Finance are excited to be representing alocal company in their search for an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a role within a stable and growing business, based North of Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.

You will be responsible for running all the day to day accounts for a number of group businesses, where responsibilities include:

  • Purchase Ledger
  • Sales Ledger
  • Posting journals
  • Nominal ledger
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Credit Control
  • Petty cash
  • Reconciling company credit cards
  • Intracompany transactions
  • VAT reporting
  • Assisting with Monthly/Annual accounts preparation
  • Adhoc reporting
  • Other duties as required within the finance team

    • Applications are welcomed from individuals with the following skills and experience:

  • Ideally qualified to either AAT or ICB/IAB standard, but QBE would also be considered
  • Proven track record within a small business environment
  • IT Literate - ideally with experience of Sage Line 50 or Sage 200
  • Highly organised and able to work unsupervised 

    • Initial interviews will be held in face to face in a Covid secure environment with all guidelines being follows. This role would be office based, so own transport is essential due to the location of the offices.

    The client will also consider candidates looking to remain self employed who can invoice for their hours through their own company with an agreed hourly rate.

    This role is available for 2-3 days per week, with Monday working being essential, candidates looking for roles to work around school hours would also be considered.
