PART TIME BOOKKEEPER 3 Days a week - Quickbooks experience is a must

My client, a media business based in Fulham, is seeking a  PART TIME BOOKKEEPER (3 Days a week)  to join them whilst they go through the next phase of growth. This is an amazing time to join this business!! The ideal candidate  MUST HAVE  used  QUICKBOOKS  recently!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing an Accounts Assistant – ensuring data inputting is accurate, systems are kept to and invoices go out to deadline
  • Recording day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process within QuickBooks with the assistance of an Accounts Assistant
  • Verifying that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
  • Raising client fee invoices and uploading to portals, ensuring that client related expenses are fully recharged
  • Collating and paying purchase invoices in a timely manner
  • Running reports to track office expenditure
  • Overseeing debt collecting
  • Conducting monthly bank reconciliations
  • Conducting periodic reconciliation of all balance sheet nominal ledger accounts.
  • Preparing ad hoc management information data where required
  • Reporting into the MD on all financial matters
  • Preparing quarterly VAT returns for external Accountant’s review
  • Bringing the books to trial balance stage to enable external Accountants to prepare annual statutory accounts
  • EXPERIENCE

  • Must have at least 5 years relevant experience
  • Fully trained and competent on QuickBooks online and Microsoft Office
  • PROFILE

  • Flexible attitude with the ability to manage an Accounts Assistant
  • Be able to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines
  • Good communicator both verbally and in writing
