Part Time Bookkeeper

We are working with a successful travel company based in the Maidstone area who currently have an opportunity for an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage the company’s accounts and provide accounting support to an established team. The role is 8 hours a week over 2 days.Duties: * Bank Reconciliations * Recording receipts * Prepare accounts ready to pass to current Accountants for End of Year taxes * Verifying and recording invoices * Reconciliation of supplier statements * Ensure purchase and sales ledgers are accurate and up-to date * Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts * Prepare and submit VAT returns.Training is provided on the systems, must be able to work 2 days a week, 8 hours in total with similar experience in Bookkeeping. VAT return experience is a must. Lucrative hourly rate with the opportunity to work within the travel industry
