Your New Job
The role of Bookkeeper is to manage all areas of transactional finance on behalf of the business, ensuring all ledgers are maintained and kept accurately and up to date. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have full responsibility for managing the supplier payment processes, preparing payment runs and processing payments efficiently. You will also manage the sales ledger, credit control and allocating payments to appropriate customer accounts. Payroll for the business will fall under your remit, ensuring all payroll processes are managed to deadlines whilst ensuring company compliance is met. You will undertake bank reconciliation, produce reports and produce monthly accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
You will be a highly process driven individual as this role requires working to tight deadlines and ensuring all work completed is of an exceptionally accurate standard and in line with company processes.
Your Experience & Our Requirements
To be considered for this role you must have a background as an all-round bookkeeper including experience of producing monthly accounts as well as managing payroll, credit control, bank reconciliation, ad-hoc reports and month end close down. You will be a diligent, efficient individual who is able to work on their own initiative and with limited supervision whilst possessing a friendly, team-focussed attitude. You will be looking to work on the outskirts of Poulton Le Fylde on a part-time basis and be exceptionally well presented with excellent communication skills.
