Our client is a small, friendly company, seeking a new Bookkeeper / Accounts Manager. You will be responsible for matching purchase orders, query resolution, checking creditsafe reports to check customer' credit ratings, generation of monthly intrastat reports and downloading / reconciling import delcaractions against HMRC statements. You will also open and maintain supplier accounts, maintain customer accounts, undertake monthly maintenance and back up of Sage, as well as management of a small company entity on Xero software, undertaking credit control as needed.
The role will be circa 10 hours a week, while the company would prefer this spread over 3 days, they can consider 2. Experience using both Sage and Xero would be beneficial. The company are happy for this role to be employed or self-employed, depending on the ideal candidate's preference. The company can consider half the hours to be worked from home, half in the office.
