This role is available due to the impending retirement of the current postholder, with a 2 month handover period, this role is available to start at short notice.
Working between 14 and 16 hours per week, which can be worked flexibly, ideally over 3 days, this role is extremely varied in terms of duties, but typically the role includes the following tasks: All day to day transactional finance duties and bookkeeping Bank and Statement reconciliation Producing accounts to trial balance for the accountants Preparing quarterly financial statements for review Supporting with the annual audit process Petty cash Checking payroll information in conjunction with their external payroll company Employee Expenses Tracking expenditure against budget Management of their external procurement company Various administrative and non-finance duties to support the team Applications are welcomed from individuals with the following skills and experience: Experienced bookkeeper with a proven track record Preference will be given to candidates with diverse finance experience gained within a Public Sector environment IT Literate, ideally experienced with Iris Team player with a flexible attitude Friendly, hard-working character In return, the client are able to offer a secure environment, with on-going training and development, with a generous benefits package, which includes: 25 days annual leave, increasing to a maximum of 30 days with length of service Pension
