Part time Bookkeeper / Finance Assistant...

Travail Employment Group , based in Huddersfield Town Centre is a multi-disciplined employment agency and business specialising in supplying staff to a broad range of customers in the local area. Due to retirement we are looking for an experienced Part time Accounts Assistant /Bookkeeper with a minimum of 2 years experience of Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Payroll systems.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A good working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts
  • Day to day banking and bank reconciliations
  • Setting up bank payments to suppliers etc
  • Month End procedures and reports
  • Processing of sales and purchase invoices
  • Knowledge of invoice discounting/factoring
  • VAT Returns
  • A good working knowledge of Sage 50 Payroll
  • Processing monthly salary payments
  • Month end procedures and reports
  • Processing pension returns and payments
  • The ideal candidate must have a flexible approach to work and be able to work to weekly and monthly deadlines.
