Role: Part time Credit Controller

Location: Orpington/ Working from home

Salary: 12ph

Hours: 22 hours a week (Overtime can be authorised if needed) - our client would require 2 weeks' notice for the working month on what days and hours will be worked

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer experience by communicating courteously via telephone, email, and letter
  • Collecting outstanding payments from our customers
  • Keep a detailed track of assigned accounts and debt collected
  • Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans
  • Investigate and solve customer billing concerns, handling any issues through to resolution to provide our customers with a consistent, personal touch
  • Maintain procedures within the billing team such as BACS payments, Direct Debits, Invoicing, Debt Management and Suspensions.
  • Update the database and account status
  • Monitoring multiple inboxes responding to all queries efficiently
  • Adhere to Billing operational standards
  • Maintenance of database
  • Person specification:

  • Computer literate (word-processing, spread sheets and email) and customer relations management systems
  • Experience in a credit control position
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • To liaise with customers for enquires and handling complaints
  • Can manage own workload
  • Problem solving
  • Experience working in a Billing/Customer Service role
