Hours: Part time, 2 days per week as part of a job share

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join us in an interesting a varied administration based role at The Jockey Club. This role is part of a job share and will work closely with the Racecourse General Manager, Regional Head of Racing and other senior managers.

About You

The person we are looking for is an exceptional office manager; someone who is organised, process driven and happy to get stuck in and help where needed. They will have experience driving the administrative function, ensuring effective and efficient systems are in place and best practise followed.

They are confident in establishing solid relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. They will be able to create engaging correspondence for Owners, Trainers and employees updating them on information throughout the racing season. They might be absolutely mad about horse racing, or sport in general… or they might appreciate the thrill of it all from a distance.

Most importantly, they will be open, innovative, inclusive, solutions focused, and a great addition to any team.

This role is a full one, but not full time. As part of the flexible working offering open to our people, this role has become available as part of a job share. Working 2 days a week (days to be agreed), this role will also have a requirement to support some of our Newmarket race days.
