Page Personnel is working with a successful manufacturing business on the outskirts of Liverpool to recruit a part-time Finance Manager to oversee the accountancy function.

This business is currently turning over around £10m with projections to increase that by almost 50% through investment into the business, raising of capital expenditure and a busy market. As part-time Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for your own area of the business and manage an Accounts Assistant. Day to day duties include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow forecasting
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparing annual budgets and monthly forecasts
  • Monthly variance analysis and commentaries
  • Managing relationships with the banks
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable ledgers with month end close
  • Processing payments


The successful candidate for this role must have:

  • Experience in a management accounts environment ideally from a SME business
  • QBE will be considered
  • Strong communication skills
  • Committed to their role and look to add value through process improvement
  • Excellent time management skills and able to work in a fast paced business
  • Experience of Sage and Microsoft Excel
