A brand-new charity with a focus on providing preventative and early intervention mental well-being support is recruiting a team to start the foundations and manage the main aspects of the business.
As Finance Manager, you’ll be dealing with all aspects of finance - cashflow, forecasting, managing budgets, allocation of funding, vat, tax returns, etc.
This is a part-time position 2 to 3 whole days per week (14 to 21 hours) with flexibility each way to meet business needs.
May suit:A self-employed accountant looking after independent clients - keen to take on more, or a return to work parent. Bear in mind that hours may need to increase as the business grows.
Must have:
- Either an accounting qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience
- A background of working for a small business (to help understand the environment)
- Company secretary experience
- Worked with multiple stakeholders
Ideal:
- Charity experience
- Experience in implementing a new accounting system
