Part Time Finance Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Accountant to work across two connected businesses on a part time basis; 20-25 hours a week over 3, 4 or five days.

Job Description:

  • Dealing with foreign currency transactions in connection to imported goods
  • Receipts and invoices
  • Forecasting
  • Management accounts, month end/year end
  • HRMC queries
  • VAT
  • Liaising with suppliers/contracts and various schemes
  • Purchase ledger/sales ledger/reconciliations/credit control
  • Accounting function is currently outsourced to a firm of Accountants. The job holder will bring this back in-house to gain more control of this function
  • Costs and budget control
  • Payroll, permanent staff and sub-contractors

Person Specification:

  • Ideally fully qualified
  • Experience of Xero/Sage/QuickBooks
  • Must have experience of foreign currencies
  • Highly organised and capable person, able to liaise will at all levels
