A unique organisation in the heart of Bath are seeking a Part Time Finance Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation, accuracy and integrity of their finances.
Your new role
Working closely with the Senior Management Team to help set up and deliver the organisations strategic plan you will business partner with the wider team to ensure they have a full understanding of their budgets. Alongside strategic and operational accountabilities your day to day role will involve:
- Production of quarterly management accounts, including cashflow
- Responsible for the annual audit process
- Maintain and update KPI reports
- Management of cash balances
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Manage and mentor a Finance Assistant
- Submission of annual returns
- Preparing budgets
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will ideally have a formal accounting qualification. You will proven experience of working in a similar role and excellent communication skills both verbal and written as you will be delivering financial information to none finance colleagues.
Experience of Sage and knowledge of charity accounting, reporting and regulations is highly desirable.
