Part-Time Finance Manager

Working for a successful company with a steady growth history, the successful candidate will enjoy a varied and interesting role.

This is a stand-alone position, reporting to the MD, so you will look after the day to day activities of the Finance Office, including the sales and purchase ledgers; raising of sales invoices and making timely supplier payments, banking and bank reconciliation, petty cash, credit control and preparing and submitting timely quarterly VAT returns. You will prepare monthly management accounts, budgets and cashflow, to submit to the Directors. There is a small monthly payroll to be run, but this can be covered by another member of staff if you don't have payroll experience, and you should also be willing to undertake some general office administrations duties.

Experience of working on Sage and/or Xero would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Our client envisages that they will need somebody to work between 20 and 35 hours per week, and they can be very flexible when the hours are worked. School hours can be considered for the right candidate.
