Your new role
Working closely with the Treasurer you will be responsible for the accounting function in a hands on capacity - Using Quickbooks, you will be dealing with all transactions through to balance sheet and P&L accounting, accruals, prepayments, deferred incomes and assets, bank reconciliations, payroll, but also assist and get involved with budgeting, reporting and forecasting
What you'll need to succeed
You will have strong double entry skills, good Excel, be adaptable and a self starter, someone who perhaps has worked on the financial accounts but would be keen to get more involved in the management accounts. You will want to work part time - 3 days per week, and this can be done as on a flexible basis but not further reduced hours. Initially working in the office but with potential once settled in to go hybrid. You must have great communication skills, be a team player and be willing to add value without trying to force change.
