Part Time Finance Manager - About The Role

This is an end-to-end finance role where you will be supervising 1 member of staff and will also work closely with senior management. You will be working around 25 hours a week and this role will be office based. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts including fixed assets, accruals and prepayments to senior management.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and maintain full budgetary control and reporting throughout the year.
  • Provide detailed financial reporting and statistics for the management team.
  • Maintain the company's accounting system and procedures in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Support with the preparation of the annual report and accounts for audit.
  • Monitor debtor/creditor balances and authorise payments.
  • Assisting in controlling all working capital including banking arrangements, currency controls and cash flow.
  • Manage VAT return, Intrastat and ECSL reports.
  • Supervise and train accounts team, providing support on detailed queries.

The successful Part Time Finance Manager will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar senior role
  • Previous management experience
  • SME experience
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
