They are now looking to recruit an experienced accountant to head up their finance team and report directly to the Managing Director.The company is looking for an individual to work 5 hours per day, 5 days per week but as the company continues to grow, you will be able to increase hours and levels of responsibility.This really is a great opportunity for a driven individual who is looking for progression within a growing business!Responsibilities will include:Production of timely and accurate monthly management accountsPreparation of monthly reporting information for Managing DirectorOversee, Manage and lead finance functionDevelopment of the finance team personnelOversee and manage deliverables of sales and purchase ledger administratorsResponsibility for debtor/creditor controlDaily focus on cash balances and cash flow managementOversee and responsible for accurate Payroll processing to deadlinesBudgeting/ForecastingCost control & variance analysis with commentary of drivers in deviation of company cost profileManagement of P&L and Balance SheetOversee preparation and submission of accurate VAT and Compliance returns to deadlinesPreparation of year end accounts and close process to deadlinesResponsibility for the integrity, accuracy and development of the businesses financial IT systemsContinuous development and improvement of systems, process and procedures across finance function in strive to achieve best practiceCandidate Specification;-Must have experience of working within an SME finance environment.Possess a recognised chartered qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.This job was originally posted as
