Part Time Finance Manager

Part Time Finance Manager for 18 hours per week in Birmingham City Centre offering flexible hybrid working.Your new companyHays are delighted to be working with a services company who are looking for a Part Time Finance Manager for 18 hours per week. The role is totally flexible on office or home working.Your new roleThis is a hands on and busy Finance Manage role as per the duties below:* Processing purchase invoices on Quickbooks, and arranging payment when necessary* Processing company credit cards, ensuring that there is backup paperwork and invoices for transactions* Processing and paying employee expensesSales Ledger and Credit Control* Issuing sales invoices to clients on a fortnightly basis* Credit ControlFinancial Administration and Management* Accruals and prepayments* Depreciation journals* Balance sheet reconciliations* Monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, rolling annual forecasts with assistance of Finance Director* To manage the ordering, processing and payment of goods and services at best value* To ensure up-to-date records of all expenditure and income are kept, informing the Board and Management Team about under and over spending of budgetsCash Management* Daily monitoring and control of bank accounts* Regular updating of short term cashflowPayroll* To calculate and process salaries in Quickbooks on a monthly basis, ensuring paye and staff are paid in a timely manner.* Uploading pension information to pension schemeCoordination of the year-end financial statements* Assistance in the preparation of the year-end Management Accounts \n\nWhat you'll need to succeedYou will be a hands on SME Finance Manager looking for work for about 18 hours per week with lots of flexibility.
