Finance Manager to take full responsibility of the accounts with the management of a small supporting team!

Description

  • Year-end accounts preparation and submission and audit sign-off.
  • Quarterly accounts preparation and submission for the bank including covenant reporting
  • Monthly income and wages reporting to MD.
  • Posting payroll costs into Sage (although this will ultimately reside with Payroll and Finance Assistant, works 3 days a week).
  • Annual insurance renewal
  • Monthly invoice generation (Currently shared with interim qualified Finance Manager ACCA, working 1 day per week).
  • Monthly posting of batch invoices for self-billing payments.
  • Monitoring of debtors and chasing overdue payments. Cash management.
  • Cash forecasting.
  • Bank reconciliations on Sage (on-going), shared with interim Finance Manager at the moment.
  • Overseeing and checking weekly payments to suppliers, worked out and put on bank by Payroll and Finance Assistant.
  • Overseeing and checking monthly supplier payments, worked out and put on bank by Payroll and Finance Assistant.
  • Setting up new customers on Sage.
  • Checking and raising any customer refunds.
  • Profile

  • Qualified accountant
  • Working knowledge of Sage 50
