Part-Time Financial Controller

Our client is an exciting tech start–up with potentially an enviable blue–chip client base who are looking for an part time Financial Controller to join their virtual team.

The Role of Financial Controller

General Duties:

* Monthly Management Reporting

* Cashflow, Treasury and Currency Management

* Budgeting and Forecasting

* Maintaining robust Financial Control and Procedures

* Tax compliance (VAT/, Corporation and Payroll taxes)

* Annual Statutory Reporting

* Managing Relationships with Banks, Legal Relationships and Professional Advisors

* Managing Financial Relationships with Suppliers and Customers

* Developing and improving financial systems (Xero) and processes

* Review of commercial opportunities to ensure profit maximization

* Provide support to Managing Director and the Executive Team

The Candidate:

* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with broad experience gained at Financial Controller level in SME businesses

* Strong Financial & Management Accounting experience

* Expert user of Xero and advanced Excel skills

This a part – time role at 2 to 3 days per week based at home . You must be very experienced in Xero and be able to attend meetings in London whilst working remotely
