Part -Time Financial Controller

Our client is an exciting tech start–up with potentially an enviable blue–chip client base who are looking for a part time Financial Controller to join their virtual team.

The Role of Financial Controller

General Duties:

  • Monthly Management Reporting
  • Cashflow, Treasury and Currency Management
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Maintaining robust Financial Control and Procedures
  • Tax compliance (VAT/, Corporation and Payroll taxes)
  • Annual Statutory Reporting
  • Managing Relationships with Banks, Legal Relationships and Professional Advisors
  • Managing Financial Relationships with Suppliers and Customers
  • Developing and improving financial systems (Xero) and processes
  • Review of commercial opportunities to ensure profit maximization
  • Provide support to Managing Director and the Executive Team
  • The Candidate:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with broad experience gained at Financial Controller level in SME businesses
  • Strong Financial & Management Accounting experience
  • Expert user of Xero and advanced Excel skills
  • This a part – time role at 2 to 3 days per week based at home. You must be very experienced in Xero and be able to attend meetings in London whilst working remotely
