A specialist Wealth Manager / IFA is looking for a very strong all round FC to joing their small team. Sucessful candidates need to have -
- FC experience of IFA / Wealth management
- Experience of the challenges facing a growing SME people business
- Knowledge of FCA IPRU-INV regulatory framework
- Comfortable with Company secretarial matters, VAT of partially exempt business, and Group
- Holding Company structure
RESPONSIBILITIES-
Management Information
- Production of Monthly Finance Report for Board covering historic financial performance, Y/E forecasts, FUM movement, Cashflow, and Cap Ad
- Maintaining Financial Model for forecasting future Financial Performance
- Production of Finance Reports
- Production of Annual Budget & Annual pay plan
- Production of Monthly Bankings analysis
Supporting relationship with external accountancy firm
- Monthly management accounts
- Monthly payroll – supply monthly payroll data (salaries and commission)
- Monthly Staff expenses
- Monthly Directors dividends
- Information/queries for Annual accounts & CT600
Cashbook
- Maintaining Cashbooks
- Updating monthly cashflow forecast in Excel
Year End Financial Reporting
• Supply of data to and resolve queries with external accountancy firm
Regulatory Financial Data
- Monitor monthly Capital Adequacy using monthly Management Accounts
- Provision of accounting information for bi-annual RMAR submissions as part of FCA Cap Ad filing by Compliance officer
- Provision of accounting data for ad hoc FCA surveys of IFA’s via Compliance officer
