Part-Time HR Manager

\n\n\n\nOur client, an SME in Horsham, West Sussex is looking to recruit an experienced HR Manager for 2-3 days per week for a remote working role. The client will also consider the same hours spread over 4\/5 days. Reporting directly into the Managing Director this is a stand-alone role. The role will have both a strategic and an operational focus, providing expert advice and support on all HR matters.\n\nRole Responsibilities:\n\nWork in close partnership with senior management to prepare and implement HR strategy\nDesign and work across HR projects\nSupport managers and team leaders on all recruiting matters\nAdvise managers and provide guidance on HR policy and procedures\nKeep up to date with UK employment legislation\nManage investigations and any employee relations\nEnsure employee relation cases are managed to meet best practice requirements\nDevelop and maintain HR policies\nMonitor and develop performance appraisal systems\nMonitor all employee records to include maternity, paternity requests and absence and sickness and provide regular reports to the senior management team\nManage HR personnel files to ensure they are kept up-to-date\nDevelop starter and leaver procedures\nGather and evaluate market data to measure the organisation's competitiveness for salary reviews, compensation and benefits packages\n\nRequirements:\n\nProven HR generalist experience\nThorough, up-to-date knowledge of employment law\nAbility to work autonomously\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nExceptional planning and project management skills and experience\nIn return you will receive a salary of between \u00A345,000-\u00A350,000 FTE\n\n\n\nContact: HR Recruit \nReference: Totaljobs\/BBBH2172 \nJob ID: 95353312
