Part Time Marketing & Business Development Manager

We are looking for experienced marketing and business development candidates with professional service backgrounds. Ideally they will be degree-educated and/or have a relevant post-graduate marketing qualification, such as the CIM or equivalent

The role is available on a part time basis - either 9.30am- 1.30pm 5 days a week or 3 full days a week, based in Wokingham with occasional visits to our Reading and Farnham offices. We are happy to be flexible on the days and hours, based in Wokingham with the need to travel to our Reading and Farnham offices

Strategic Skills

· Identify marketing and business development campaigns and initiatives aimed at both B2B and B2C markets to grow new and existing business

· Managing all activity for the firm through omni-marketing channels

· Oversee and manage the firm's marketing budget

· Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity

· Help raise profile and awareness amongst key target audiences and generate opportunities to meet potential clients

· Suggest ways of enhancing client relationships and/or cross selling relationships

· Monitor reciprocity from external refers and facilitate alliances

· Advise and make recommendations to the Partners on Marketing and BD investment decisions at practice and departmental level

· Monitor all marketing initiatives and KPIs and report effectiveness to the Marketing Partner

Tactical responsibilities

· Maintain and update the website (Joomla)

· Manage SEO, PPC, webchat, video and online advertising

· Creation of e-marketing campaigns such as e-bulletins and deal announcements (dotmailer)

· Promote and run events of up to 100 delegates e.g. conferences and hospitality days

· Manage and update social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook)

· Write and distribute press releases

· Create of all marketing materials e.g. bi-annual corporate magazine

· Consider tendering opportunities and manage the pitch production process

· Create branded documents and presentations in Word and PowerPoint

· Consider and place advertising and sponsorship

· Write Legal 500 and award submissions

· Monitor reciprocity and manage relationships with key referral partners

· Manage CRM and GDPR consents via the PMS (Tikit)

· Select, negotiate with and coordinate extremal suppliers/ agencies
