Your new role
  • To manage the Administration Department in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • To manage 2 administration staff, their recruitment and training needs.
  • To ensure that Administration financial matters are undertaken in accordance with Company Financial Procedures and that financial responsibility in terms of budget is achieved.
  • To provide an office environment, in terms of equipment & working tools that ensures the efficiency of Administration support to the activities of the Company, including contract negotiation for the Group of all office equipment.
  • To manage and provide assistance to all Company employees in operational activities such as Travel, Mobile Phones, Stationery provision etc.
  • Oversee the facilities management, including maintenance & repairs of the office building ensuring compliance with all statutory and best practice inspection, testing and certification
  • Organisation of Company seminars and meetings
  • Annual appraisal & identification of training and development needs, recording training and their results.
  • To motivate the Administration department to work as a team and achieve their individual objectives.
  • Office Management:
  • To strictly adhere to requirements in accordance with the office Lease Agreement
  • Maintain strict control of office budgets and other overhead costs.
  • To provide a suitable office working environment for staff with respect to workspaces, office furniture and equipment
  • To ensure the repair & maintenance of Burscough office premises ensuring the good condition of the interior and exterior of the building
  • Adherence to Fire, Health & Safety Policy procedures throughout the office according to legal and statutory requirements, ensuring relevant certification is available and in date.
  • To provide the agreed level of office security arrangements and update as necessary
  • Approve purchase of office equipment and other commodities

    We are looking for an experienced and personable Office Manager, happy working part time from the Burscough office.
